What is your ministry background?
After college at Auburn (War Eagle!) I started my career in corporate America for five years. After the birth of my daughter, I switched over to children’s ministry. I was the preschool and kid’s director at a large Methodist church in the great state of Alabama for 7 years before moving to Georgia and beginning my Orange Specialist journey. I’ve been an OS for 8 years and in full time children’s ministry for 15. Gosh, I feel old.

Getting to know people’s stories, helping people and encouraging people.
What are your 3 must read ministry books?
Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Coleman, Making Your Children’s Ministry the Best Hour of Every Kid’s Week by Sue Miller and David Staal, It’s Just A Phase So Don’t Miss it by Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivy

negativity, people chewing chips loudly and slow drivers
Do you have any skills that most people don’t know about?
During college, I used to train dogs to sniff out drugs and explosives. It was a fun job.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Somewhere tropical and warm on a beach
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
