What is your ministry background?
As a PK, I’ve been in ministry for my whole life! I started working in full time ministry in 2005 after graduating from Anderson University (go ravens). I spent 4 years outside of Lexington, KY & another 7 years on the north side of Indianapolis. My roles at both of those churches were in Youth Ministry & NextGen ministries. In 2016, our family moved south to start my next adventure in ministry as an Orange Students Specialist. Now I get to be a volunteer small group leader 🙂

What is your favorite part of being an Orange Specialist?
I love the strategic conversations that lead to practical implementation. I love talking ministry from a 10k foot view…mission, vision, strategy…but I also love it when we’re able to help ministries implement some new strategies or resources that move them forward.

What are your 3 must read ministry books?
Sustainable Youth Ministry by Mark Devries, Sticky Faith by Kara Powell & Chap Clark, Think Orange by Reggie Joiner (I promise they didn’t make me put this one)

Do you have any skills that most people don’t know about?
I can throw a baseball upwards of 70 miles per hour. I know, right?

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Playing golf at Augusta National.

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Professional baseball player for the Atlanta Braves.

Name three words that you describe you.
Quirky, Empathetic, Analytical.

What do you want to make sure you do before you die?
Real Answer: know my grandkids.
Fun Answer: shoot under par in a round of golf.

Name a few of your daily habits (other than a shower and brushing your teeth).
I sleep with a noise machine on & an eye mask (#sleepdiva), I skip breakfast every day, and I play the guitar for at least 5 minutes just about every day

If you had $100 and the day to yourself, what would you do?
Play as many holes of golf as the sun allows me to.
