What is your ministry background?
I started leading kids worship in 2004 and was invited to my first Orange Conference! (Grow Up) When I saw the FX and grasped the concept of being an intentional and invested small group leader I was hooked! I have implemented the Orange Strategy in seven churches in children and family ministries, from church planting to multi site. I have been an OS since 2010 and I love partnering with churches! I also serve as family pastor on central teams for Fellowship Church in So Cal.
What is your favorite part of being an Orange Specialist?
Let’s go with the 3 C’s: Coaching, Consulting, Cheerleading. I love dreaming of what could be with partners and then creating an action plan to move in that direction! You can do this!
What are your 3 must read ministry books?
That’s too hard to answer .. just 3! My most recent 3 -In the name of Jesus – Henry Nouwan, Unleashing the power of rubber bands – Nancy Ortberg, Braving the wilderness- Brene Brown
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
We love hosting first Friday in our house! Every first Friday of the new month we open our home to all to celebrate life!
If you had $100 and the day to yourself, what would you do?
Check Groupon for a great deal and do something fun in the city! A sports game, a play, a spa package. If nothing good was going on i’d go to Santa Monica – have brunch on the beach, get my nails done, and read a book!
